Nervous about breastfeeding? We are here to help you prepare and provide all the necessary education and information. Many beautiful Mommies are nervous about the entire pregnancy and birthing experience. Breastfeeding is an added concern that has been known to make Moms anxious and nervous to start. We are here to make sure you are prepared. You are not alone.
Kayla Spiller is the lactation Specialist she is a certified health professional who specializes in breastfeeding issues. She is here to help parents and infants with issues like milk supply, sore nipples and breastfeeding positions etc. Kayla support Women in the NW Indiana and Chicagoland area.
Prenatal visit $175
In Home or Virtually
-Customized breastfeeding education
- Have access after birth to call after delivery from hospital to receive Breastfeeding and pumping support and instruction
It is suggested to plan this visit by 35 weeks' gestation.
Phone Consultation $75
If you are experiencing an issue that is emergent and you need support but there is no availability for in person, we can provide phone support that will assist and create a experience that is less stressful. When a visit cannot be scheduled immediately, this consult provides help to manage symptoms ONLY.
examples: plugged ducts, symptoms of mastitis, increasing supply after reduction due to vacation or illness, tips for bottle feeding a breastfed baby, but please understand that symptoms often have an underlying cause that needs visual assessment to resolve completely.
Follow up $150
Some breastfeeding issues can be resolved in one visit, sometimes additional hands-on help and continued assessment is needed to fully meet your breastfeeding goals. There are times, new issues arise in the breastfeeding relationship, and additional help can get mother and baby back on track. In this visit, for mothers who have already had a comprehensive consultation with Kayla Spiller, we will reassess infant feeding, address low or oversupply issues, and make necessary adjustments to the plan of care.
A follow-up consult typically lasts one hour.
