Where will my Placenta be encapsulated? 

Your Placenta will be process in our office located in Bloomingdale, IL.

Placenta encapsulation is not just a preventative it is great for maintenance. Placenta encapsulation assists in preventing Postpartum depression, reduced energy and low milk supply. 

The American Journal of Obstetrics and diseases of women and children say" feeding of placenta to women during the first eleven days after perturbation causes an increase In the protein and lactose percent of the milk.

The use of placenta preparations as healing remedy for a newly birthing Mom can be traced back to historical, traditional practices in Western and Asian medicine.

Do I have to inform my Physician/ Midwives?

​Yes,  You will need to add Placenta Encapsulation to your birth plan. Please inform your Physician or Midwife.

When do I contact you?

Once you go into labor you will notify me via phone call. Once your precious bundle has arrived earth side you will call me so that I can come and pick up your placenta.  Once placenta has been birthed they will place it in a hospital container.

How long does it take before you pick up placenta ? 

I pick up as soon as my schedule allow. Once you place placenta on ice this will allow placenta to stay fresh until I have arrived. You will need to place placenta in a cooler of Ice.

​​Do I need to bring anything?

 You will need to bring your cooler to the hospital. (coolers can be purchased at Walgreens, Walmart or any store that sale coolers.)  Once I have been notified I will pick up your placenta. I have a 24 to 48 hour turn around.

What type of capsules do I use? 

I use vegan capsules.

Do you add herbs to placenta capsules?

​There is nothing added to the placenta capsules.

​How many capsules will I receive?

​Each placenta provides a different amount of capsules. I am unable to guarantee an amount. I have had client receive 33-300 capsules. The amount can depend on size of capsules as well. 

What happens if I do not finish them? 

You can freeze your left over capsules, when you decide to use them again please check if moisture has entered the capsule and there is no mold present. (Many have frozen left overs and used for menopause.)

​What is a Tincture? 

Tinctures can be made with plant and for you your placenta. A tincture is when in your case your placenta is saturated in alcohol long enough to allow cellular structures to break down and the alcohol to extract the medicinal constituents  

What do you use for Tincture? 

Tinctures are typically made with alcohol. If you have a history of addiction or prefer to use alternate option please request vegetable glycerin.  I use grain free alcohol for my tinctures. 

​Why would I need a Tincture?

Tinctures are great to have as a break glass in case of emergency. The Tincture is a more fast acting version of the capsules. It is fast acting. Once you have completed your capsules you are able to still have your tincture available to you. Utilizing a little droplet of your placenta tincture in water or under your tongue can give your body  a quicker response than your capsules.

Where do I store the tincture? 

Tincture should be stored in a cabinet or closet. It should not be a hot part of the house. 

How will I know how to use everything? 

You will receive consumption instructions. Capsule consumption is based on the size of the capsules.
